Augustus Cullen Law expands its team with two new appointments

Augustus Cullen Law is pleased to announce the appointment of two new team members, Deborah Lavelle and Andrew McFadden, further strengthening the firm’s expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality legal services to clients across Ireland.
Deborah Lavelle joins the firm
Deborah Lavelle is a Senior Associate Solicitor in the General Litigation Department and handles a broad spectrum of litigation matters focused on safeguarding both personal and commercial interests. Her practice includes resolving disputes involving contracts, pensions, property damage, bullying and harassment as well as personal injury claims.
She graduated from the University College Dublin in 1996 with an Honours degree in Business and Legal Studies and qualified as a solicitor in 2001.
Deborah has tutored and lectured nationally and internationally in the areas of Litigation and pensions law. In addition to 9 years in a niche litigation practice, she draws on 15 years top tier law firm experience and applies that experience to every matter.

Andrew McFadden joins the firm
Andrew McFadden is an experienced commercial litigator, based in the Dublin office of Augustus Cullen Law LLP. He practises across the full spectrum of commercial litigation matters, including construction, employment and ADR.
Prior to joining ACL, Andrew practised in major commercial law firms in both Ireland and the Middle East, primarily in aviation, shipping and construction disputes. He has been instructed by a range of global insurers to represent their insureds, as well as acting in subrogation claims and coverage disputes. He has represented clients in the High Court (including Commercial Court), Circuit Court, District Court, the Workplace Relations Commission, Residential Tenancies Board, and all forms of ADR.
In 2018, he graduated from Ulster University with First Class Honours in Law with Criminology. He subsequently graduated from Queen’s University with a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Studies, and the Law Society of Ireland with a Postgraduate Diploma in Construction Law.
Andrew is admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. He is a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society (MRAeS), including serving as International Officer on the Young Person’s Committee and previously served on the committee of the UAE branch. He is a regular lecturer at Ulster University in various areas of law.
