About Augustus Cullen
Augustus Cullen Law has a history founded in the finest legal traditions. The firm was established in 1887 in Church Street, Wicklow by the late Frank Kennedy, Solicitor and the late Augustus Cullen acquired that practice in 1924.
The firm practiced as Augustus Cullen & Son from 1958. Over time, Augustus Cullen Law has continued the development and expansion of its practice with the opening of its new Dublin office in December 2015. The new offices are located at 18 Bow Street, Smithfield, Dublin 7.

On the 19th of February 2013 Augustus Cullen Law succeeded in settling, on an Interim Award basis, a claim on behalf of a six year old girl who suffered from acute near-total asphyxia during labour as a result of placental abruption. The Plaintiff alleged substandard care on behalf of the Midwifery and Obstetric Staff at the Defendant Hospital in failing to recognise the symptoms of an impending placental abruption when the Plaintiff’s mother attended Hospital on numerous earlier occasions.
